    1. We begin this story just after the disastrous Hunsford proposal but here Darcy decides not to write his letter explaining his actions or his relationship with Wickham He, basically, gives up stating that it would be inappropriate to give her a letter, much less for her to accept it and that since she has now turned him down why should he care what she thinks and finally how he will make sure of the lack of possibilities that they should ever meet again So he takes off back to London Meanwhile El [...]

    2. Clean, Quick, HEA 3.4 stars This story contained all the elements that we look for in JAFF It had the basic premise that boy meets girl, boy loses girl, attempts to get boy and girl back together What made this so much fun it was about literature s Darcy and Elizabeth from Austen s Pride and Prejudice Our author, being male, gave a different perspective than most female authors Not that there was anything wrong in that, it was just different The tone of the story was cut and dried, straight to [...]

    3. Remorse and ReconciliationBeginning is much the same Comment at the Meryton Assembly, constant stares at Elizabeth, Miss Caroline Bingley making rude comments about the Bennets, especially Elizabeth When the group from Netherfield leave with not a word except Caroline s lying letter, Jane is crushed and her father is mad with Bingley s treatment of his daughter When Darcy arrives at Darcy House, Mrs Annesley gives him two weeks notice as she s moving to America to be with her daughter She sugges [...]

    4. For me, everything in this book just doesn t make any sense Elizabeth suddenly realized her error in judgement, Darcy left Rosings hoped never to see Elizabeth again but decided to take Kitty to Pemberley as Georgiana s companion, Elizabeth practically begged Kitty to let Darcy know of her feelings, then Mrs Reynolds had the audacity to tell Elizabeth she wishes her to be the Mistress of Pemberley without even knowing Darcy s feelings towards her I understand that this is a novella, but I wish t [...]

    5. I had a hard time reading this novel without skipping paragraphs or pages at a time as I found the writing style elementary I found the reconciliation portion of the novel quite silly as though Mrs Bennet wrote it Not recommended.

    6. A very short, pleasant read to fill a few hours on a dreary day Characters are spot on There are a few situations in which propriety is ignored, although the story is a clean read and suitable for any age 3.5 stars.

    7. Little too convenientIt is ok, though I got bored and at times scrolled skipped through it Just too convenient scenarios and too fast for Elizabeth to suddenly love him.

    8. This story is only 99 pages long, yet I had to force myself to struggle through it It is poorly written and often makes little to no sense I am not a stickler for historical accuracy, but it appears as if absolutely zero effort was put into historical content in this one I don t enjoy giving negative reviews, but I felt a strong urge to do so in this instance.

    9. Good but short.I like the concept and the details but the story felt rushed So many scenes were almost a summation I like the author and have read most of his books but some of his writing is starting to sound like a rehash Great ideas that just need a little shakeup.

    10. A short visit to PemberleyI always enjoy Don Miller s Austen based novels He finds new ways of int inducing us to the characters and leading us down a new path.
