    1. Review A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM by Adam AustThis debut mystery is a thrill a moment highly suspenseful roller coaster ride, where surprises and twists abound and both reader and protagonist are kept heart in mouth Readers are caught up from the first page, accompanying the female protagonist whose life and relationships are upended and turned inside out.Angela Gianni is a university degreed L A resident who makes her living as a psychiatrist When her best friend reports a bad breakup, then disappe [...]

    2. A Glitch in the System is a well organized and smartly tangled set of plot twists Adam Aust applies precision and detail to make you feel like you re in the story, while at the same time enabling you to remain curious and surprised by each new thrill The writing is sharp, clever, and descriptive without ever gilding the lily.It is difficult to imagine that this is Aust s first published book, or even that this is the first time we re learning about these characters their internal monologues, the [...]

    3. Loved the mix of murder, intrigue, a little bit sexy without being dirty or too explicit Normally I m not a fan of a court room drama but this was written obviously by someone who s been there and wasn t boring, in fact, I became quiet interested in the monologues as the story unfolded I read this in two sittings and am looking forward to Adam Aust s next book Thank you GoodReads for the opportunity to read this

    4. I received a signed copy through a giveaway I found this book to be very well written I didn t want to put it down, it grabbed my attention from the very beginning I had to find out what happened Great read from beginning to end

    5. A Glitch in the System is a well crafted thriller And I would imagine that fans of this genre will love sinking their teeth into this one This is my first time reading this author and I must say I was very impressed. The story had every element a good story should have An exciting plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well written and well rounded character development There s an abundance of well illustrated scenes that really make you feel like you are right there in the story [...]

    6. Tense, captivating, and mysterious till the final pages Aust grabs you from the first page and refuses to left go The structure of the book assists greatly in this endeavor, the story unfolding on multiple levels at the same time This book is quick, dirty fun Sexy without being raunchy Thrilling without being clich The only criticism I would level against this book comes by way of the conclusion It builds up so high, and there were so many intriguing twists throughout, but the final twist is lac [...]

    7. fallenoverbookreviewsI received this book to give an honest review I have to say I was a bit impressed with this book You have a young lady named Angela who is a dominatrix sounds kinky Well when her best friend ends up missing well then that is what starts the downhill slope for Angela She starts getting text messages and has to start doing some things or her friend and soon her lover will die Angela tries the whole police thing but when that doesn t work out in her favor Angela is at a loss Sh [...]

    8. Wow I couldn t believe that this is the author s first story, as his work is well written and well developed I love the premise of the story, a dominatrix who is falsely accused of murder This book is a definite wow A very powerful and controlling personality in the story, Angela is in for the fight of her life She s not your typical Dominatrix or even leading lady character, but she is powerful and dramatic I love her internal dialogue as she tries to keep from breaking down and giving in It s [...]

    9. This is a difficult book to review for me because beyond what is given in the blurb there isn t much that I can talk about that won t give out spoilers I expected a mystery suspense when I picked this up and didn t realize that it was also a courtroom drama which is not normally my thing I find that courtroom procedurals drag, becoming tedious and often time boring I didn t experience that with A Glitch In the System It was evident that the author had either done their due diligence in research [...]

    10. For a debut this was first class, intrigue, red herrings, tense, mysterious and what a ending I look forward to Adam s next book.

    11. I thought that this book was very good I have to admit, however, I was a bit worried about the premise A dominatrix is a difficult character to deal with properly I think it could have gone three ways really cliched and therefore terrible, attempt not to be cliched and fail admirably, or deal with the subject matter properly Thankfully, the author did the latter and I ll make sure to keep an eye out for him in the future.
