    1. I have always been scared when I read or see reality based stories Fictional stories just don t do it for me notwithstanding The Silence of the Lambs That being said this book was almost beyond comprehension The fact that people exist that do the actions described in this book is one step away from unbelievable I found the book to be detailed and well written The topic was horrific If you like horror you need to read this book.

    2. Well written Exce ent readBesides being shocking and creepy Was an excellent read This serial killer was brutal beyond brutal He didn t just kill these young woman he captured them, flew them out into the Alaskan wilderness, then hunted them down If your interested in true crime, this is one to read

    3. Serial murderBook is a great read showing every aspect of great police work and some not so police work and when people and justice sometimes fall through the cracks.

    4. I picked up this book because, although Hansen went on his serial killing spree in Alaska, he is from my home state and I felt a need to find out if it was something in his early up bringing in the Hawkeye State that set him on the path to such atrocity The writing is clear and straight forward, taken from official records, interviews, etc The book is especially good if you appreciate accurate timelines and sequences in your true crime.
