I found this a philosophically astute and fair minded study of the interplay between the National Socialist movement and some of the prominent movements and figures of German philosophy in the 1930s Even if it s a little heavy on the intellectual history, it s not nearly so as it could have been a fact of which the author is well aware , and the ultimate philosophical questions toward which it points are of enduring interest.
