    1. Hi, I m the author I received such an overwhelming response to Where the Hell is Tesla , and so many requests for a sequel, I decided to give it a go The result For me, it was WONDERFUL to revisit the world of Chip and Pete, Tesla, Bobo, Meg and add a few new friends, a million new twists, test the limits of absurdity, and see if Chip can once again save the multiverse and himself It was an absolute labor of love, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it

    2. My original Don t Touch the Blue Stuff audiobook review and many others can be found at Audiobook Reviewer.Don t Touch the Blue Stuff is the second novel in the series called Where the Hell is Tesla by Rob Dircks After saving the multiverse in Where the Hell is Tesla , Chip Collins is rudely interrupted during his wedding to once again enter the Interdimensional Transfer Apparatus, designed by Nicola Tesla himself, to interact with the infinite multiple universes Chip is accompanied by the no no [...]

    3. The author kindly provided me with a code for the audiobook on Audible and this is my honest review I thought both the book and the narration were excellent like all of Rob s books Rob Dircks is one of the best narrators I have listened to so it is great that the author narrates his own books I listened to Where The Hell Is Tesla for the second time yesterday and started this book around 10 minutes later It was great to catch up with Chip, Pete, Nikola Tesla, and of course Bobo he is just awesom [...]

    4. A big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff was how the Tenth Doctor described time Don t Touch the Blue Stuff takes place in that big ball In fact this book is the ball, ball of fun, barrel of laughs, waterslide of goofiness This whole book is hilariously fun and that would be enough. But there s Within the wildly imaginative humor there s a touching love story and some very respectable science fiction that takes on even the metaphysical aspects of perception and creation This sequel to Wher [...]

    5. I received the audio version free in exchange for an honest review.3.5 stars I relistened to the first book before going in to this one so I had a fresh comparison and because it was a pretty short listen anyway Both books are told in the same fashion Emails from Chip to Julie For me this is a love hate style I love the authors mixing it up and using a different style for his books Adds a freshness to things On the other hand by the end of the book I tend to be tired of the action breaking for e [...]

    6. Witty and Amiable FunThere are a fair number of scifi based humorous buddy adventures out there, and lots of them are entertaining enough But, this book, and the series , strikes me as just right The setup, that Tesla left behind a portal to all of the other multiverses, our slacker heroes found it, and now they perform multiverse saving missions for the FBI , is basic, sound and only as complicated as you want it to be The author doesn t struggle to make sense of or to justify the setup It s ju [...]

    7. 4.5 starsRob Dircks seems to always hit all the right things to make a great novel Since this is a sequel to a novel that came out a couple of years ago, he perfectly addresses this by adding in a great little review He doesn t shy away from breaking the fourth wall and addresses the readers directly I like this approach as it gives a nice personal touch to the book.Just like the first book, Where the Hell is Tesla , this was a fun and silly sci fi novel that explores alternate dimensions with f [...]

    8. I just so enjoy the characters, the outrageous plot, and the snappy dialogue The sheer exuberance displayed by lead character Chip, his damn the torpedoes full speed ahead approach to plot twists plus the crying, cussing, vomiting that accompany it , carry me along like a tidal wave The underlying love is all message of both books in this series never gets sappy, old, or hackneyed And I never tire of Pete, Tesla, Gina, Bobo, and other fellow travelers as they courageously forge ahead or bumble a [...]

    9. Review copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review Try the blue stuff, it s delicious. If you liked the first book you will like this one too It s of the same, which in this case isn t a bad thing at all There are some good chuckles and a fun story.Bring nachos for the ending. The author did a great job with the narration.

    10. As good as the first book in this series I would recommend both Comparisons to Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett spring to mind.An entertaining example of a science fiction story that uses humor and does not take itself too seriously Original and unique

    11. Don t Touch the Blue Stuff is the second book from Rob Dircks in his wonderfully witty and comical Where the Hell is Tesla series Not only is he the author of the piece, he is also the narrator of the audiobook edition which in my opinion, is a good thing Not only is the book well written for its genre, the narration was professionally done as well All around, if you like wacky, zany, and downright fun science fiction books, I do not think you can go wrong with the latest book in a series which [...]

    12. Note Even though this is Book 2 in the series, it works fine as a stand alone.Chip s at it again He was very fun in Where the Hell Is Tesla and he s just as fun in this book The humor has carried over well even as the author added in a little seriousness Pete has gone missing and Julie has big news for Chip that he hears just before being swept off by the FBI to assist in this latest problem with the inter dimensions.Agent Gina Phillips gives Chip a much needed hand throughout this adventure She [...]

    13. Review originally published at lomeraniel audiobookreChip has a good life after the adventures in the previous book He is finally back with Julie and they are planning to get married But the wedding is suddenly interrupted because Pete, living in another dimension with Maggie, has disappeared Chip will have to enter again the Interdimensional Transfer Apparatus, with Gina Phillips, her boss in the FBI, just to discover that Pete has been swallowed by a blue stuff The situation is so dire that th [...]

    14. You never know with sequels Fortunately, you don t have to worry about this one Dircks second in the Tesla series delivers every bit as well as the first and if you haven t seen that review, look for it I rave like a fangirl, teehee.Chip and Pete and Bobo and Julie and Nikola are back but not only are they back, they re back with a vengeance The new adventure is even madcap, yet still oddly relatable, than the first somehow, Dircks has this fantastic ability to take these guys that should, by r [...]

    15. OkThere s only one reason I m giving this book five stars It s because won t let me give it six The book continues from Where the Hell is Tesla and again we have obvious alter ego Chip Collins along with Pete and Tesla and the FBI saving the multiverse Yeah, and the appropriate catch phrase of Shit s Crazy, Don t ask is a good way to make sense of the science when it gets too far into the realm of being mentally challenging There are aromas intended or otherwise to Kafka s Metamorphosis, Dante s [...]

    16. Had to debate between three and four stars for this book The adage that lightning never strikes twice applies here The author has gone right back to the story being told by the main protagonist to his girlfriend, friend and even us, the readers via email messages The book isn t horrible There were even a couple moments where I laughed, or at least chuckled, out loud But returning to the same formula the same existence is at risk and only these goofballs can save us I tore through the first book [...]

    17. Just a quick note This book should not be on the Science bookshelf but I can t get it off.Overall I enjoyed this books giving it three stars for the story and four stars for the narration with and overall rating of four stars Lots of foul language in this book especially the liberal use of the F Bomb If that bothers you then don t bother with this book It s not for you I knocked it down from four stars to three stars because of the use of GD in it Even one occurrence will automatically get you k [...]

    18. This review is for the audiobook version of Don t Touch the Blue Stuff Where the Hell is Tesla 2 , written and read by Rob Dircks. The Blue Stuff is a worthy successor to Tesla and I enjoyed it a little bit than the first entry in the series This book feels like a USA Network Sci Fi program Please note, this is a compliment USA has done a fine job over the years, crafting some of my favorite shows The writing is solid and their character driven programming typically revolves around a cast of qui [...]

    19. Another home run for Rob Dircks, an author with no shortage of ideas and whose new work I now await with great anticipation This sequel to Where the Hell is Tesla did not disappoint This book was full of the same irreverent humor and scifi references I have come to expect from Dircks and that remind me so strongly of John Scalzi s writing But what makes this book stand above most scifi is the way it incorporates a very touching tale of the meaning of fatherhood, friendship and love. Also kudos to [...]

    20. A funny and silly romp of an adventure, the sequel to Where the Hell is Tesla.I found this highly entertaining I also liked the fact that the book was relatively short I suspect a longer version might have dragged, but this length worked well. There are some memorable scenes, but prefer to not give away any of the surprises By the end the blue stuff is eradicated, all is well, and everybody is getting paired and with babies on the way The trip along the way is silly, inventive, and fun.

    21. A worthy successor to Where The Hell Is Tesla The multi dimensional travels of Chip Collins continue in this fantastic follow up to Where The Hell Is Tesla The unfortunate thing is that he s in the process of getting married when the FBI alert him to the danger. What follows is a fun romp through multiple dimensions, time and even the mind I don t want to give too much away, but if you enjoyed the first book in this series, you re going to love this one.

    22. The science fiction silliness continuesI loved this book, the second of the series I found the first book just as silly and loved it The second book is just as enjoyable The humor is a little juvenile and in general I don t like juvenile humor but the strong science fiction element in the book drew me back in I recommend this book for any genre fans who want a light read.Disclosure I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley for review purposes.

    23. A lighthearted Bill and Ted type follow up to the first Where the Hell is Tesla book It s not going to win the Nobel prize for literature, but if you re looking for something to cheer you up on a rainy afternoon, this will do the trick no bother Alternate universes, a touch of Narnia, adventure, and loads of laughs What s not to like

    24. This is absolutely hilarious It made me laugh out loud several times Too often the sequel to a good book is not as good as the original This book measured up in every way The main character has such wonderful digressions The heart of the book got to me also It was than just a barrel of laughs It not only made me laugh, it also made me smile contentedly again and again.

    25. Rob Dricks, thank you so much for the two books I really appreciate your gifts You are completely a great author with good writing skill I will read Where the Hell is Telsa but I love this one, the story is amazing, thrilling and funny Guys who love crime , FBI, cool, adventure should 100% read this.

    26. Nice job , dude All the crazy zig zagging strands manage to get woven together by the end Heads up lots of typos after p 284Criticism Chip pukes frequently but never seems to eat Is this some side effect of interdimensional travel

    27. Great followup to a good first book The format of the first book is a bit odd, but it worked, and surprisingly it worked for the sequel too Nice mix of sappy and funny parts of the book really make this a fun and fast read.

    28. Rob lite my Neanderthal cave with his first book and I was like Beezneez btw The second book I don t have words to describe this hilarious, love, sci fic, action pack book Anyway what s grosser than don t touch the blue stuff I don t know,so go grab a copy,

    29. I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. Please see my full reviews available at coffeeandtrainspotting.wordpress.For requesting arcs and books to review, please visit netgalley.

    30. Super fun story Many laugh out loud moments Rob did a great job narrating Looking forward to the TV show or animated version
