Marrying the Marquis Grasso, Patricia Dec , Not so in Marrying the Marquis I loved Ross and Blaze They have fiery chemistry that has a bucket of cold water thrown on it every time a love scene comes up These scenes weren t tame, they were bad uninvolved afterthoughts They seemed to be the awkward love scenes as described by a twelve year old virgin It killed the flow and feel of Marrying The Marquis by Sara Blayne Marrying The Marquis Historical romances set in the Regency period are extremely popular with romance readers, as evidenced by the success of such authors as Julia Quinn, Stephanie Laurens, and Victoria Alexander, as well as New York Times bestselling authors Jane Feather, Amanda Quick, and Catherine Coulter. 1. Yet another lovely book in this ongoing series by Patricia Grasso Ms Grasso has a charm to her writing Even though she has a similar format for most of her books, it seems to work I think it s because I like her characters, and the story that she tells Blaze is an adorable heroine She can communicate with animals, and this sets the tone for her life She doesn t eat meat, fish, or poultry, because she can hear animals cries of suffering when they are hurt She has a big Mastiff named Puddles, who [...]

    3. Marrying the Marquis by Patricia Grasso is probably one of the steamiest, most scandalous books I have ever read A girl with a secret that could ruin her reputation is being blackmailed into bed by a handsome man who wants her hand It is most definitely not a book written for younger children, in fact, I wouldn t recommend this book to anyone under the age of fifteen But to anyone over the age of fifteen, this book is a must read It takes you on a journey and there is just the right amount of de [...]

    4. Me gusto como Ross entendi su don de una y no hizo cuestionamientos por ejemplo por ser vegetariana Los protagonistas se fueron entendiendo muy bienMe gustar a saber que paso con las otras hermanas

    5. I really hate to say this but this book was just blah Unfortunately Ms Grasso has fallen into a reoccuring pattern with all of her books I found her early works with the Devereux series to be really enchanting but her later series have slowly degraded into a pattern of hero meets heroine gets her to marry him and then heroine finds out that hero has child from past relationship that he never told her about and she finally overcomes this stumbling block and they have their HEA Your probably think [...]

    6. Okay, I haven t read the first two books in this series, but good Lord, this was a very uneven book It started out okay, but as soon as the hero basically blackmails the heroine into sleeping with him, it started a slow trip downhill It felt like Grasso utilized every historical cliche in the toolbox, from the evil Stepmother and the dead but saintly Mother to the unplanned Pregnancy and a hidden Child from a First Marriage Blegh.

    7. I really liked this historical romance where the hero pursues the heroine The animal sensitivity compensated for a couple bad moves by the hero and he fits the whole series where women are rational then men anyway Blaze s stepmother is trying to marry her off and Marquis Ross is eager to be her husband.

    8. I ve been reading Patricia s novels since I was a teenager and they haven t lost their charm yet The novels do have a formula I ll admit, but the author adds details that makes them different This book about Blaze Flambeau and Ross MacArthur was a good one I thought the romance was done well I m looking forward to the next novel in the series.

    9. Another wonderful book written by Patricia Grasso Blaze has a gift, she understands animals and they her She wants to race the horse her father gave her Ross sets out to wins Blaze for his wife You have murder, poisoning, blackmail, lust, passion intrigue all wrapped up in a wonderful romance and murder mystery

    10. Found this for 1 as the store and picked it up on a whim which I am so glad I did I had no idea how humorous, witty, and downright funny this book would be I highly enjoyed it.
