    1. The charm of the book s main idea wears off quickly and the characters are not compelling It is obvious to see that the author draws parallels to players on tour But for golf professionals, the members of the team certainly are portrayed as rubes who don t know much about the game It is almost as if they are weekend hackers. The bottom line is that Eddie Camminetti is just not a likeable guy, even remotely His philosophies on golf are not groundbreaking by any stretch nor are the insights into ho [...]

    2. Very funny A light read and a fast read Written so that non golfers can enjoy it too, so some of dialogue between professional golfers in the book seems a little silly to golfers but its just to explain what non golfers need to know I will be reading the sequels.

    3. Very, very fun golf fiction Ryder Cup captain names a small time hustler as one of his captain s picks hilarity ensues Well written, displays a great understanding of golf Recommended for just about any golfer.

    4. The first book about Eddie Caminetti, a golf hustler who ends up playing in the Ryder Cup Entertaining stories of his crazy bets.

    5. Read at the suggestion of my husband who is an avid golfer, and also likes to lay a wager or two on the golf course Defintely a guys read, but fun for anyone who plays the game.

    6. Excellent fictional portrayal of the ultimate hustler playing on golf s biggest stage An good yarn especially if you like golf Even better if you love golf.

    7. I really enjoyed this book, it s fun and moves along nicely If you look past some things there are definitely some truisms about Golf.

    8. First in a trilogy about golf hustler Eddie Caminetti who takes down both sides in the Rider Cup while representing the USA Crazy daddio

    9. This is one of my favorite summer books I just finished reading it again last week, and I feel ready to play some golf.
